Hey everyone. I found a couple of these frogs today, but only got to take a picture of this juvenile one. To me it looks like a cricket frog, which would be awesome because it is a species of special concern in Michigan and I would love to share with the DNR where I found it. Just coming here for some verification! Sadly I didn't have my camera with me and only got these crummy phone pictures.

I've never seen one of those before but from the pictures online, it sure looks like one. Either way, congrats on finding such a nice specimen. When you see a frog jumping do you like run after crouched down to see the species? I do XD

Definitely a cricket frog. The taxonomy of these guys has been active lately. I think Michigan populations are now Blanchard's cricket frog, Acris blanchardi. Nice find!
