I am planning to get a 1/15 HP JBJ Mini Arctica chiller for my 36 gal (136 liter) aquarium. The suggested flow rate is 100 - 200 GPH.
My canister filter has a flow rate of 115 GPH. Is this sufficient or do I need to purchase a water pump as well?

You can hook it into your canister filter. Have the water go through the chiller after it goes through the filter.

Thank you, I'll definitely be doing that

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
