Thank you for accepting my request to join. I’ve been interested in herpetology since I was a youngster. I recently found a very dehydrated western barred tiger salamander at my work. This little girl is roughly 4” in length and I assume is quite young. She’s been in her tub enclosure for 5 days and has proven to have a very healthy appetite (one earthworm and six crickets). She has no issues feeding from a set of small tongs.

Welcome to the site! Tigers are life :).

Thank you John for the welcome. I found my Tiger Salamander in Northern Alberta just north of Edmonton.
