I need some serious help I have just rescued and axolotl from my sisters kid's (yep nephews but I'm pretty mad at them at the moment).
It's in really bad condition It's belly and sides were completely covered in a thick furry fungus and it seems to have a lot of skin damage.
I haven't kept axolotls since it was a teenager but I just couldn't leave it there.
I have done salt baths which seems to have cleared up the fungus.
and I have fridged it to speed up healing but seriously how much can they heal
This is pretty bad
I'll post photo's this afternoon Hold your stomach really .......
