Hynobius nebulosus

I aquired a pair of H. nebulosus in December, ad so far they are doing well. I originally set them up in a paludarium-type setup, similar to Henk's setups and my own H. dunni tank. However, the mael soon stopped eating properly, lost weight and had to be brought inside for more intense care. Once placed in small plastic box with shallow water (about 0.25 cm), cork bark hide and moss he quickly regained the weight he had lost. Meanwhile the female is eating fine and doing well in the original setup.

My question is this; how do people keep their nebulosus throughout the year - do you use a terrestrial setup for part of the year, of has success been had with a paludarium all year (as with H. dunni)?

Thanks

Chris
