Hi! I'm in the process of a somewhat-overdue tank upgrade for my little guy and I want to have some plants in my tank, specifically java moss and potentially marimo. It's been hard to find conclusive information, so I figured I would ask here: Is it possible to get an axolotl tank planted and set up without any tank lights?
There's a window in the room, and there's a good few light sources I can toggle. There's also always a little red lamp running so it's never totally dark, but it's very faint.

there are a few plants that are used for ponds (ponds are closer to the water conditions required than tropical tanks) that are low nutrient/temperature/light etc... ie. hornwort, duckweed, frogbit, elodea densa etc.. but some are unsuitable if salts/minerals are required.
