Last survey of the season

I finished my last survey of the season this morning, barring the odd day out turning over logs. Sadly somewhat disappointing but I did manage to get some photos of many Triturus cristatus larvae and a particularly nice colured juvenile Lissotriton vulgaris. Some photos of the pond for good measure. I've done 6 visits here this year and the population is very healthy. It has however ruined my stats as somehow I have managed a grand total of zero recaptures thus making a population index void, bah!
