Hello everybody, I'm Carlos from Spain and I wanted to show you my axolotls (btw, I'm new here! :p )

This is Phoebe, my wild type female(?) axolotl, I think it's a female. She looks pretty healthy but if you see something wrong just tell me :)

This is Linos, my golden axolotl male (I think). He is a bit thin but now he is starting to eat well again (He was stressed). I'm also afraid because he has little gills and one of them is weird, you will see them in the pics. He also have his hindpaw damaged, but he is recovering well! (If you could give me a hand giving me some tips to fat him up a bit, I would appreciate that ^^ ) .

Hope you guys love them as I do!

PS: If you could confirm me the sex of both of them it would be nice :D

Yes, your wildtype is a girl and the albino is a boy.

Male axies tend to be slimmer than females, your male looks a healthy size to me. But if you think he's too thin try daily feeding with worms for a week and see how he looks then.

So I will be posting the evolution here!
Thanks for confirming the sexs :D

PS: If I want them to breed, I should put plants on the tank, right?

Phoebe will nee something to lay eggs on - plastic or live plants are both fine.
