Hi, I am new to raising newts from eggs. I acquired some kaiser newt eggs earlier this year, long story short I have 2 newts approximately 7.5cm in two separate planted tubs. Both still have there gills. My question is i know the larvae can cannibalize, when is it safe/safer to put these two together. It was a challenge raising them from eggs and are both doing great so i would hate to lose one over putting them together prematurely.
Thank you,
Brant

If they're both of the same size there's no risk of cannibalism if you put them together. They can attack eachother during feeding time though.
