I´ve just seen a video here about Tubiflex and I recognize immediately!
I remember my self see it in nasty canals with dead rats and things like that.
But reading a bit I find out some consider that these are very bad when wild caught so i was thinking in making a culture? Is it possible? It worth? how can a do such a thing like this?
Thanks,

While easy to culture, Tubifex species worms are dangerous disease and parasite vectors. They require absolutely filthy water to thrive. I do not recommend using them for pet food.

Hi eljorgo, I wouldn't condemn them. Certainly the ones collected in the wild are dirty and have a reputation for being nasty disease vectors. But I have read accounts of people culturing them as feeders, and I believe it can be done under reasonably clean conditions. I don't have a link to this info handy, but if you do some searches of this forum, or on google, you may find some articles on culturing. (And you may find better search results if you spell it correctly: tubifex, not tubiflex.)
