Hi all,
I recently acquired some tylotriton yangi and had some questions. The previous owner didn't cool them, but have heard of some people succeeding in breeding them without a specific cooling period (just going through seasonal changes in the house temperature/air pressure changes). They have not bred for him however he hasn't done anything like simulating rain, increasing the temperature etc. If I were to do so, would it stimulate breeding? All 3 go in and out of the water regularly and 2 seem to have volcano shaped cloacas, but aren't showing bright breeding colours. Also, when cooling in the winter, what is a suitable range in terms of temperature? Any help is appreciated, thanks!
